Since I started my travel blog project to document my journeys and hopefully inspire my over 50 empty nester women friends to start prioritising themselves and travel I have been collecting the Sydney Morning Herald Traveller newspaper section.
On 16 June 19 Lucy Davison a travel specialist wrote a short piece on 'How to get the most out of the Taj Mahal visit'.
She identified that 'The Oberoi Amarvilas has a view of the Taj Mahal from every bedroom (and even some bathrooms)'.
I had a quick visual image of me sitting in a chair watching the day pass by whilst looking at the Taj Mahal. And just over two weeks later here I am.
Impulsive, expensive and a little reckless but just AMAZING and I haven't even got to the actual building itself yet! #lovestotravel
