Well I haven’t had a great photo taken of me in a very long time and I haven’t had a good hair or clothes day in the incessant heat since I got to India but today I was the tourist attraction of sorts.
After a lazy start to the day I went out sightseeing to Agra Fort, the Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh which is the place to watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal.
Every step of the way I had locals asking to have a photograph or selfie taken with me!
My driver explained to me that locals and people from the villages don’t often see white western blonde people never mind women and I shouldn’t be offended (which I kind of was initially).
After having been requested to line up for a photo with EVERY combination of this family group it dawned on me to have them take a photo for me!
It turned out to be a great way to meet the locals and share a huge cultural belly laugh!
It is just totally unfair that the beautiful Indian women and their Sari’s look magnificent in every photo! 🤷🏼♀️😂
